Trip to MacRitchie ( Tree Top Walk)

Bracket Fungi

leaves eaten

A dead tree trunk getting decomposed becoming nutrients for the plants around it.

An owl that used to stay in a tree that could be seen from the suspension bridge but now it has flown away somewhere else to an unknown place.

The view from the top of the suspension bridge which
was the highest  of viewing the plants. this was even higher than the canopy.

The Suspension Bridge where we took one reading and found out  that eventhough
there was alot of wind, it was 31'c due to the humidity.

A view overlooking trees from the bridge
T

The original spelling of Tempines which is a street. Tampines Street.  it is named after the tree Tempines tree

Leef Litter which decomposes  into nutrients and help plants that are not able to get enough sunlight to adapt to the
enviroment.

The no litter sign is to remind people not to litter as it will interfere with the cycle of the nature.
                                                                     Decaying Matter

Plants using tall trees for support to get more sunlight.

The Tapioca Leaves
                                                     A natural river

Look how clear the water is.

Admire and appreciate the amount of plants there are giving us  oxygen

The MacRitchie Tropical Rainforest is one of the only places in Singapore where there is no human inteference with nature. There are monkeys there. Many plants there are from other countries like the Elephant Ear.
There are also quite a few native plants like Flora.
